Why a Somerville Pet Food Bank?

One of the top reasons that animals are surrendered to shelters, or even abandoned, is because their families can no longer afford to feed them.

It is our mission to ensure that no one in our community ever need to choose between feeding themselves or their pets. We strive to help keep beloved pets in homes with at-risk families facing economic hardship.
